Cannot confirm my domain name

I ma finding the process of setting up email so it sues my domain name very frustrating.  My domain is hosted by a third party.  They have tried to follow the instructions for testing but are finding them very unclear.

The zone file currently shows (with the ms record  - shown below as XXXX - generated by the system.  This change was done a week ago - so well over the 72 hours!

My host provider would like to know what he has done wrong.
